I have never felt so compelled to leave a review for a book as I did for this one. It didn’t so much change my life as renew, reinvigorate, reinspire, and reawaken me! Since childhood I’ve had a fear of not being good enough or solid enough in my faith to be sure I wouldn’t go to hell when I die. This book showed me directly from scripture that much of what I had been taught did not come from Jesus, but was fabricated later by people misunderstanding so much of what he said. There is no divine rod coming down in absolute judgment, deciding if your soul is saved or damned based on your acceptance or rejection of those teachings. There is no punishment associated with your relationship to me or to Jesus.
